First day at ARCC
My first day at ARCC was very stressful. It was even more stressful then my first day at Bethel University because the first day of class I did not have the internet or my books so I had to go to the library for school. Going from attending school to online courses has defiantly proven to be challenging but I think I am finally getting the hang of things.

I understand what you're saying Lashaya. I attended ARCC as a student in 07-08, and now I'm doing it all online. It's definitely an adjustment and sometimes a little more of a challenge, because the learning aspect is all on our part. We can't just go into a class and listen to a professor telling us things.
Thats really cool that you can just do all your classes online. I dont think I would ever be able to do that because I need to hear from a professor and ask questions in person. Good luck!
I understand what you went through with the online classes and everything. Last year was my first year at AR, and I took some classes on the campus, and one online. It was hard getting used to taking a class online. I had taken some online classes before for my high school, but it was hard getting used to the D2L and everything. You really have to make sure that you pay attention, and stay on top of everything. I think sometimes with online classes its easier to forget about the assignments that are due. It's also a lot easier to get distracted. I guess you just have to get used to it, and stay focused.
I bet that having all online classes can get pretty challenging sometimes. This is my first semester taking online classes and they are sort of hard to get used to. The format is so much different than regular classes.
